BEST JERKY IN THE WORLD!!!!!

There's not too much I have to say about this other than you just have to try it. Elias loves himself some jerky and has tried many different flavors from many different locations of purchase, including the dollar store. It's a recession and we need to fulfill our jerky needs, we are not above it. Up until now the best jerky we've had has hands down been from Bucky's truck stop between Houston and San Antonio. Move over Bucky's brand because Krave Jerky is coming through. In Elias' words, "This is the best jerky I have ever had."
Go out and buy some. See for yourself.

Korma Curry

Don't judge us. We are going curry crazy. Today we went grocery shopping and I had to take Elias to World Market so he could see the variety of curry concoctions they have there. He picked this one. As soon as we arrived back home I was eager to make it, and did. While I am more partial to red curry I was really impressed with the taste of this new Korma Curry; the spiciness level right out of the bottle is a bit spicier than the red curry but because we have to take it to that next level we purchased some curry spice to kick it up a notch. PS. Curry spice only $.99. Super awesome deal. Much like the red curry I blogged about before the jar has everything you need, we just added some bell pepper, baby corn and chicken. Throw it all together with some jasmine rice and you have a great meal.

A little bit of Thai in Phoenix

While living in San Antonio La Familia Fadel would frequent the many Thai restaurants that were in the vicinity of where we lived. Now we unfortunately don't have the luxury of living across the street from our favorite Thai joint anymore - so we improvise.

Jack and I had a great shopping day in which we just so happened to pick up this lovely concoction at World Market. It is well worth the $5. Not only did they have this flavor but they also had about 4 other varieties. Only thing I would recommend while there is picking up some of the World Market Curry Spice to kick up the spiciness a notch. Other than that, it's really delicious.

The sauce already contains baby corn bamboo shoots and bell pepper all you have to do is add the desired protein and you're good to go. I our case we added chicken and extra mushrooms, bell pepper, and bamboo shoots.
